About This Treatment
The laser helmet (LLLT) is a non invasive supportive method that delivers low level laser light to the scalp; the helmet shaped device emits light at a specific wavelength over the scalp area. The application is planned following an assessment by a doctor or specialist, who determines whether it may be suitable for the individual based on the nature of hair loss and the condition of the scalp. The method is not a replacement for surgical approaches such as hair transplantation, but a supportive option that, depending on medical advice, may be considered on its own or alongside other care approaches.
In a typical session, the helmet is placed on the scalp and the application is carried out for a set duration; the procedure usually takes place as a comfortable seated session, and the number and frequency of sessions are planned by the doctor for each individual. Throughout the process, the scalp's response is monitored with regular check-ups, and the application plan is reassessed when needed. Results vary from person to person; for this reason, any observable changes and follow-up care are addressed within the framework of individual assessment and regular check-up appointments.
